Why does the pool have lane lines?

Whether it's in a race on TV or in a real swimming pool, we often see lane lines in the swimming pool.

1, can ensure that athletes in training and competition will not interfere with each other

2. Improve the utilization of swimming pool

3. Slow down the flow of water

According to the principle of hydraulic pressure, through the action of the whole lane line, the energy of water wave is absorbed by the buoy, so as to eliminate ripples in the water and provide good competition environment for athletes. The buoy is made of engineering plastic, with bright colors, easy combination, strong buoyancy, corrosion resistance, wave absorption and other characteristics. Color, length, diameter and so on are all optional. Among them, the pull rope and tensioner, pull hook, hook embedded device are made of stainless steel. Buoy specifications: generally 12cm, standard 15cm, spiral length 6cm, generally 20cm. Standard lengths of 25 m and 50 m are available with optional and custom lengths. The color of the lane line is different from the color used to mark the length. The standard waterline is usually red and white, about 5 meters; There's also a red line in the middle, about 2 meters.

Enabling swimmers to judge the distance to shore is in fact a way that allows athletes to know when to turn during competition and training, and to estimate the number of slides needed.
